Privacy Policy
Remice is built to keep what you do on your own network. This explains the little it does handle.
Between your phone and your Mac
Your iPhone talks directly to your Mac over your Wi-Fi. Every message is encrypted with a key made when you pair, which travels only inside the code you scan. Remice refuses connections from the internet and from VPNs. Nothing about what you point at, click or type leaves your Mac.
What is kept, and where
- On your Mac: the phones you paired, your buttons and settings, and the last list of current versions. Uninstall from Remice's menu removes all of it.
- On your iPhone: the pairing and your pad settings, inside the Remice Home Screen app. Deleting the app removes them.
What reaches the internet
Remice asks this site which version is current, when it opens and every six hours. That request carries nothing about you or your Mac. Like any website, the site's host, Cloudflare, sees the address your request comes from in its standard logs, as it does when you visit this page or download Remice.
What Remice doesn't do
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. If that ever changes, this policy will change first and Remice will ask you to agree again.
